    Lyrics:
I don't wanna hear about it anymore
It's a shame I've got to live without you anymore
There's a fire in my heart
    A pounding in my brain
    It's driving me crazy
We don't need to talk about it anymore
    Yesterday's just a memory
    Can we close the door
    I just made one mistake
I didn't know what to say
    When you called me baby
    Don't say goodnight
    Say you're gonna stay forever
    Oh, whoa, all the way
Can you take me high enough
To fly me over (fly me over) yesterday
Can you take me high enough
    It's never over
    Yesterday's just a memory
    (Yesterday's just a memory and)
I don't want to live without you anymore
Can't you see I'm in misery
    And you know for sure
I would live and die for you
And I know just what to do when you call me baby
    Don't say goodbye
    Say you're gonna stay forever
    Oh, whoa, all the way
Can you take me high enough
Can you fly me over (fly me over) yesterday
Can you take me high enough
    It's never over
    Yesterday's just a memory
    I'm running
I was running for the door
    The next thing I remember
I was running back for more, yeah, yeah yeah yeah
    Don't say goodbye
    Say you're gonna stay forever
Oh, whoa, all the way (all the way, all the way, yeah)
Can you take me high enough
Can you fly me over (fly me over) yesterday
Can you take me high enough
It's never over, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
Can you take me high enough
Won't you fly me over (won't you fly me over) yesterday
Can you take me high enough
It's never over, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa

Even the two stations (1 local, 1 national) that did sometimes play metal only did it occasionally, and most stations were the worst kind of commercial, wimpy, yuppy, pathetic pop and regurgitated soft-cock rock travesties that you could not imagine even in your worst nightmares. In '91 I was an angry young man!!! And most of it had to do with Adelaide radio.

Whoever is reading this, I wanted to say I hope you have a great day and that God loves you so much that He sent His son, Jesus, to die on a cross for your sins and He rose again from the dead three days later. God Bless!
And also, He doesn't want you to go to Hell, but He wants you to go to Heaven with Him but you have to be Saved. How do I get Saved you might ask? Here are the steps below on how to get Saved!
      1. Believe that God sent His Son
(Jesus) to die on a cross for your sins and that He rose again from the dead 3 days later.
      2. Confess to Jesus that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sins and Turn away from your sins. If you sin again after asking forgiveness of that sin, ask forgiveness again and try not to do it ever again. Jesus will forgive you!
       3. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life and for Him to be your Lord and Savior forever.
      4. Build a Personal Relationship with Jesus by Praying and Reading the Bible daily and Live for Him Forever.
I'm Praying for you and you are loved!

Ironically most of the songs I remember from commercials for rock ballad compilation CD's from decades ago. This song was one of those. Same with 'Headed For a Heartbreak' by Winger, 'When I See You Smile' by Bad English, etc I heard excerpts from the songs in a commercial a handful of times 30 years ago and they resonated with me so much that one day the memory came to me and I found them .😂😂😭😭

thank God for you-tube. its great to go back and see all these awesome bands who had lead singers who could actually sing, not just say words along with some lame a** tired old beat box repeated noise in the back ground 🙉 they could actually write and play music too, good music, actual music. so called music today is garbage, the people listening haven't a clue what real music even sounds like or the talent of the musicians who played their own instruments, not like today where some machine plays the same beat over and over where you cant even tell when one crappy song ends and the next begins. when you went to see a band perform live in the 70's there was no tech behind their voices to make them sound better, they didn't need it, they naturally had great voices. how low music has sunk over time, its sad and pathetic, and they actually win awards for that sh** 🤦‍♀

To me, this song was saying goodbye to the 80s and putting the 80s Hair Metal to its final rest.

I don't want to hear about it anymore,
It's a shame I've got to live without you anymore.
There's a fire in my heart,
A pounding in my brain, it's driving me crazy.
We don't need to talk about it anymore.
Yesterday's just a memory; can we close the door?
    I just made one mistake,
I didn't know what to say when you called me baby.
    Don't say goodnight,
    Say you're gonna stay forever,
    Oh, whoa, all the way.
Can you take me high enough
    to fly me over yesterday?
Can you take me high enough?
It's never over and yesterday's just a memory,
    Yesterday's just a memory.
And I don't want to live without you anymore.
Can't you see I'm in misery?
    And you know for sure
I would live and die for you
And I'd know just what to do when you call me baby.
    Don't say goodbye
    Say you're gonna stay forever,
    Oh, whoa, all the way.
Can you take me high enough
Can you fly me over yesterday?
Can you take me high enough?
It's never over and yesterday's just a memory.
    I was running
I was running for the door
    The next thing I remember
I was running back for more
Ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
    Don't say goodbye
    Say you're gonna stay forever,
Oh, whoa, all the way, all the way,
    Come all the way, yeah.
Can you take me high enough
Can you fly me over yesterday?
Can you take me high enough?
It's never over, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Can you take me high enough
Won't you fly me over yesterday?
Can you take me high enough?
It's never over, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

Good rock for me is stellar vocals, great guitar and banal lyrics. This fill my criteria. Plus an underrated chick in the opening. Who' she btw?
